Joe The Not Too Smart Plumber

I wouldn't have believed it had I not read it myself..

America Needs A White Republican President.

The blog continues on..

Wanting a white Republican president doesn't make you racist, it just makes you American.

http://joeforamerica.com/2013/10/america-needs-white-republican-president/

The blog name is Joe For America. Should I assume that it means Joe For White America, or Joe For Republican America?  Perhaps Joe For The Morons in America would be a more preferable title.

I am not calling Joe The Plumber a bigot or a racist. I don't know him and I have no idea if he is or not. I am calling him a moron.

Obama is certainly the worst president the US has ever had. He's arrogant, inept and should not be in the White House. But his color or ethnicity has nothing to do with his inabilities.

The last white Republican president wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer and had a wee bit of trouble telling the truth. The one that was proud of  his "C" average in university. Did we forget about him?

What happened to honesty, diplomacy, strength of character, intelligence, education. Are those leadership qualities no longer in fashion in this country that has become so divided?

Is moronic thinking representative of the average Joe ( no pun intended.) If not why have we allowed it to become the image portrayed by political parties?

In the last presidential election a young woman gained infamy after sending a comment out on twitter - which went viral.

The fact that Australia has a "Prime Minister" ... and "She" was an "Atheist".. didn't seem to be relevant. The response from the Aussie's was priceless.

No one can doubt that Sarah Palin is savvy. She has earned a healthy income playing the part of a moron without ever going to Hollywood, making a comedy movie or doing a stand up show.
Sadly, she is in the political arena.. the lifeblood of the USA.

Vice President Dan Quayle announced that "Desert Storm was a stirring victory for the forces of aggression and lawlessness."

( Perhaps that statement was more truthful than Quayle intended it to be. )

Donald Rumsfeld, secretary of defense claimed that: "There are known knowns. There are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know."

Rumsfeld made G.W Bush sound like a real university graduate after stumbling though that mouthful.

Texas governor Miriam "Ma" Ferguson put an end to the American Exceptionalism "rumor" when she proudly boasted: "If the King's English was good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for me."

How can we expect anything better from Joe The Plumber?

What it shows to me, at least, is that while congress fight over the healthcare system they should revisit our educational system at the same time.
Turning out a generation or two of morons really isn't the standard we should seek, or accept.

I can think of only one thing worse than a moron and that is an unhealthy moron.
